What began as a Downtown variety store specializing in musical instruments, became a hub for music and community throughout the 20th century. Like many businesses, Stephenson Music Company relocated to the suburbs of the newly established Cameron Village in the mid-1950’s. The store remained in Cameron Village until the late 1960’s, before moving back Downtown.
